Excellent location and customer service
Excellent position with very friendly helpful staff. Some rooms are quite bijou and would benefit from additional shelving for toiletries in bathroom. A problem with a leak was resolved so efficiently that my sister was in a new room in less than half an hour of reporting the leak, with all belongings transferred, despite it being nearly midnight. Thank you especially to the night manager resolving this episode and to all the other staff for excellent customer service. It also benefits from an excellent Michelin restaurant for that special occasion. Highly recommend this hotel.

We were very pleased with everything
All of the staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help you in any way. If we return to Amsterdam we would stay here again and also recommend it to others. The rooms were nice and comfortable. We also liked there was a daily breakfast

The location is excellent, only a 10 minute walk from the main central train station. The staff are very hospitable and always willing to help with a friendly smile. This was our first visit to Amsterdam and if we ever return, we would not hesitate to book our stay at this hotel again.

Spacious Rooms, Amazing Breakfast, and Friendly Staff
The family suite was spacious and comfortable for my family with two kids. The washroom was clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Great location with just a few minutes walk to a tram station. The breakfast buffet was especially great and truly delicious. We stayed for a week and never got bored with the breakfast— we always looked forward to it every morning.

Amazing!!!
Hotel Albus was super amazing and we very extremely pleased with how the staff helped us to get around Amsterdam. Upon arrival, Nina immediately showed us in the map where to go, what to eat and how to go around. Amazing hospitality, it’s top notch! Nina, Kima and Froukje, are all super amazing!!!

Stay here! Great location!
The Albus is in a great location in Amsterdam, close to many restaurants and bars and only one block away from Rembrandt Square and the metro. We got upgraded so we were thrilled about that and the room couldn’t have been nicer! Staff was very attentive and resolved every (small) problem we had quickly and efficiently.

The Albus is a very comfortable hotel with great staff in a nice location within walking distance to all the Amsterdam attractions and dining. The staff was really helpful and friendly. They made check in and check out very easy. The room was clean and very comfortable. It was larger than expected.

Great Gem in Central Amsterdam
Can we leave more than 5 ⭐️ Some rooms may be smaller but the Heart of this hotel is very large. Sparkling clean, well furnished and good vibes. The mattress gave a comfortable sleep. Firm, but not too much. Big fluffy towels. The staff were always ready to go above and beyond. My husband has asthma and the fabric softner was setting him off. They actually reached out to the laundry service provider and changed all our linens the same day ❤️ They booked all the best excursions for us. The fact that you could buy your all tickets right there was very handy. This hotel is close to everything. Within walking distance to many attractions and all sorts of eating places. The best recommendation i can give the Albus is that we will definitely be returning 😊

Great place to stay
Great front desk folks! Lively street but silent in the spotless rooms. Convenient for walking or taking trams 2, 12 or 14 to the central station (just pay the attendant when you enter the middle doors.) It's a mile north to the central station or south to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum, a mile east to the Maritime museum, a mile west to the Anne Frank house

The Albus Hotel - a great find!
Never having been to Amsterdam, I had a really difficult time choosing a hotel. I am very pleased that I found the Albus Hotel. It was far enough away from the noisy, touristy strips I was hoping to avoid, yet a very easy walk to the sites I wanted to visit. There are many transit stops within a 5 minute walk, the flower market and Rembrantplein are just around the corner, and the museums, Anne Frank house and Albert Cuyp market were about a 20 minute walk away. The hotel and staff were lovely and informative. I booked directly on their website, which not only was a very affordable option for our four night stay, but also granted us late check out, free welcome drinks, and a room upgrade. My partner and I were delighted when we opened our door to discover we were given a very spacious, quiet room with a sofa and TWO bathrooms! There was also the thoughtful gift of stroopwaffels and a microfiber cloth (for our phones/cameras) waiting for us upon our arrival. We did not opt for the breakfast, but the restaurant was definitely a popular spot. We also appreciated how they offered the environmental option of not having new towels/bedsheets delivered every morning in exchange for free drink vouchers. We enjoyed our stay at the Albus and would definitely recommend it to others!
